The transition of youth into integrated community settings for paid work experience can require unique supports and specialized services between school districts and agencies. Networking and collaboration with employers in your community will create meaningful paid work experiences and increase post high school outcomes and prepare students to graduate college and career ready. Creating visual resumes capture a youth’s true passions, interests and desires as they relate to their postsecondary goals for education and training, employment and independent living. It allows potential employers to see youth in action; significantly increasing their chances for employment opportunities. Visual resumes engage the student in the job seeking process in a fun and productive way.
