Unpacking Assumptions Series


The Unpacking Assumptions: An Introduction to Equity-Centered Language and Implicit Bias series is targeted at building capacity in culturally responsive transition planning. The series offers synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities as well as “office hours” to offer a safe space to discuss any questions and/or concerns and share successes. The asynchronous portion of this series will provide the freedom to reflect on your learning and set goals to increase your personal growth as you engage in the series. We are excited to have this opportunity to learn and grow together as we expand postschool outcomes for ALL students.

Professional Learning Overview


We encourage all participants to attend the entire series. The series will include:

  • Synchronous Learning via zoom – Dates: 12/08/21-02/16/22-04/12/22-05/11/22
  • Asynchronous Learning through the online professional learning module – Educator reflection and goal setting
  • Office Hours to grow individually and as a team – Dates: 01/19/22 and 03/16/22

A certificate of completion will be provided to all participants who attend the live series and complete all lessons within this professional learning module.
