This training provides an overview on Indicator 13 requirements and use of the Post Secondary Transition Plan (PTP) application for new educators or educators new to transition. The training also discusses effective practices to create a Postsecondary Transition Plan that exceeds minimal compliance and drives attainment of postsecondary goals. Resources such as Self Directed Tools, Opening Doors series, Transition Assessments, and various transition websites and an overview of the Transition Improvement Grant website will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a current Post Secondary Transition Plan (PTP) that they would like to work on.
